The San Diego Hotel & Motel Association's bylaws provide for several opportunities to participate as a member of the organization. HMA holds monthly membership meetings with speakers addressing issues pertinent to the hospitality industry. These meetings provide members with an opportunity to network and meet fellow industry professionals.

For Allied Members, there is an Allied Speaker program which allows two allied members to give short presentations on their companies during the monthly membership meetings. Allied Members also get a chance to display their companies at the HMA Annual Allied Member Event featuring table top displays.

Property Membership Form Active Members of HMA are lodging establishments located within San Diego County. Active members designate individuals to represent their establishments. The individuals so designated are vested with the right to hold office in HMA and with the right to vote at all meetings of the membership. The full scope of benefits, services and programs offered to active members is described throughout this web site.
 
Allied Membership Form Allied Members of HMA are affiliated companies, vendors and purveyors to, the lodging establishments of San Diego County. Allied Members have the same membership benefits as Active Members, except for the right to hold the office of President

  
Student Membership Form Start planning your hospitality career moves now. A student membership in the HMA puts you ahead of the career curve. And while you're still in school, we'll link you with industry resources you can use to produce first-rate projects that catapult you to the head of the class!
 
 
 
Associate Membership Form Associate Members are local educational institutions. The HMA participates with educational institutions, from high schools to universities, through adopting schools, mentoring, and our members serving as instructors. Associate members have the same membership benefits as Allied Members


 
Active Membership Form Become an active member of HMA while your property is being constructed. You will receive all the benefits as a property in operation, yet at lower dues per room. This is a great advantage prior to your Grand Opening!
