We are pleased to announce that the San Diego Tourism Marketing District (TMD) has been approved by the San Diego Hotel Industry.  The TMD assessment will begin on January 1, 2008.  You may click here to see the letter sent to each assessed hotel outlining the process for the TMD and also a document summarizing the definitions from the enabling documents.   To view the Management Plan, click here.

2008 CH&LA Star of the Industry awards!

Congratulations to Cheri Chester at the Courtyard By Marriott San Diego Central for winning in the category of 2007 Lodging Property Achievement Award-Community Service, large property. The award was presented at the Stars of the Industry and Hall of Fame Dinner on April 1, 2008 at Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento.
